24 Hours in Detroit with Karlie Kloss!

Happy Women Crush Wednesday! This week we’re so excited to be celebrating one of our favorite midwest babes, the raddest “six foot two giraffe from the Lou” — Karlie Kloss!

Entrepreneur, activist, television host, philanthropist, and oh yeah supermodel — I honestly don’t know how she finds the time to dig in so authentically when she travels the globe. We were introduced to Karlie by one of our dear friends, Penni Thow, and were so inspired and grateful to hear about all of her work with Kode With Klossy, and the STEM/coding programs she and her team run for our girls here in Detroit, and around the country.

Thanks so much for stopping in for some glam at Detroit Blows, and for all of your gracious support of the community work we’re doing via Detroit Grows.

Check out Karlie’s Youtube Channel to see how she spent her last 24 hours in Detroit! She started her day with us, but made the rounds with some of our favorites; StockX, The Beach, Little Miss Flint

We’re building another to-do and to-see list for you, Karlie, and can’t wait to have you back in the D soon!

P.S. If you would like to support the work of Little Miss Flint please visit her Go Fund Me page!

And if you’re curious as to what happens to all those water bottles, check out our new friends at Genusee, who are making opticals and sunnies out of the upcycled plastic — we are obsessed!
